Balch Dam
The Balch Dam will be opened moderately a few days prior to October 1, 2023 as the dam upstream is being opened and the water is being drawn down in Belleau Lake to make repairs to their dam. Opening the dam will allow for the excess water to not raise the level of Balch Lake.
The Balch Dam will be opened on October 10, 2023 to allow for the annual draw down of the lake for the winter months. Please plan accordingly for the removal of your boat for the season.
